😯Most brands will get Peak 2025 wrong…
They’ll overspend, chase platform ROAS, and miss the growth happening outside .com. The brands winning peak have already shifted using full-funnel measurement to invest earlier, plan smarter, and scale profitably across DTC and different marketplaces.

📌WEEKLY MUST-KNOWS
PLATFORM POLICY
Instagram Raises Livestream Eligibility To 1,000 Followers

Instagram now requires public accounts with at least 1,000 followers to go live. Positioned as an anti-spam and quality measure, the policy shifts access to a key engagement and conversion format. Smaller brands and creators must re-plan event marketing, live drops and social commerce tactics or accelerate follower growth to retain live capabilities.
SOCIAL COMMERCE
DMs Are Becoming The New Storefront On Instagram

Conversational commerce is flattening funnels as creators and brands convert directly in Instagram DMs with automation, personalization and real-time prompts. Faster response cycles and intent-qualified conversations drive higher conversion and loyalty at scale. Teams should treat DMs like a sales channel: wire in automation, catalogs, offer logic and attribution.

Sprout Social’s specs guide (updated Aug 28) reflects current video requirements across Meta, including the Facebook “Videos” tab shift to Reels and ad format constraints. Correct aspect ratios, durations and sizes remain critical to delivery, ranking and CPV/CPA efficiency. Creative and media teams should sync specs to avoid quality losses, rejections and wasted spend.
